At a press conference held at the Wheatbaker Hotel to introduce the brand and product to the press, Communications manager Estee Lauder Ms Lulu Ndevu spoke on the brand essence and introduced the new products made to suit the African woman including, the new double wear stay –in-place foundation shades, pure colour envy sculpting lipstick, Modern muse chic fragrance amongst other skin care products. Chris Williams, National makeup artist Estee Lauder South Africa demonstrated the use of the Estee Lauder I- Match to determine foundation shades.
He also showed the audience how to do a Smokey eye in 30 seconds and how to apply makeup to wake up the eyes. Samples of the products were passed around for the audience to touch, feel and smell. Guest were treated to canapés and drinks and received a goody bag containing the new Estee Lauder Modern Muse Chic fragrance , double wear stay –in-place foundation, Envy sculpting lipstick amongst others.
