Sister of one of the Paris terrorists posts tribute to her brother on Instagram: "I miss everything about you," she writes

  
     Sami Amimour, one of the terrorists who burst into Bataclan music concert in Paris and massacred 89 people, got a 'loving' tribute from his sister. It is not clear when the post which was first uncovered by ITV News, was made but 2 pictures, thought to be the brother and sister as youngsters, accompanying the post, reads: "Each blessed day, I miss everything about you"

Troops clear more Boko Haram camps, rescue women and children (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

       Nigerian troops working to clear all known Boko Haram terrorists camps towards Banki, Kumshe axis and Bama axis cleared 4 more camps yesterday September 14th. They were able to clear the terrorists camp at Bolungu 1 and 2, Bula Doye and Cheehi Dare and secured a very important bridge linking the towns of Miyanti and Banki in Borno State.

The End of Boko Haram is imminent - Defence HQ

 
         The Acting Director, Defence Information, Colonel Rabe Abubakar says the end of Boko Haram activities in Nigeria and the West African region is imminent. Speaking to pressmen in Abuja today September 14th,  Col. Abubakar said that with the renewed commitment of the military leadership and the determination of the troops in the mission areas, Boko Haram activities will soon be a thing of the past. He attributed the feat recorded so far to motivation and injection of right arsenal in the prosecution of the battle against insurgency.

All Boko Haram camps have completely been wiped out- Defence HQ

      This is some cheering news from the Defence Headquarters. At its maiden media chat which held in Abuja yesterday September 9th, The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Colonel Rabe Abubakar said the military is winning the war against Boko Haram as all the camps of the terror group have been destroyed.

He said:

         The Acting Director, Defence Information, Col. Rabe Abubakar, has assured Nigerians that the Boko Haram insurgents lacked the capacity to retake towns under the control of the military.
Abubakar said, during an interactive session with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, that the troops were in top form to carry out the statutory responsibility of protecting the territorial integrity of the country against the insurgents.
He stressed that the military was committing a lot to ensure the timely eradication of the Boko Haram insurgency and the scourge of terrorism in the country.
The Acting Defence Spokesman appealed to the citizenry to appreciate the efforts of the military,
especially the current headway being made in the anti-terror war.

According to him, so many of the camps of the insurgents had been captured and removed by the troops involved in the operation.
He said the military was intensifying ground and aerial offensive against the insurgents said to be in disarray.

      These are some of the 128 suspected Boko Haram members released to the Borno state government yesterday September 9th. They were released after investigations showed they had no links to the terror group. Borno state governor Kashim Shettima presented them with clothes and an undisclosed amount of money.

Abubakar Shekau is alive - Journalist Ahmad Salkida says

      Journalist, Ahmad Salkida, who has reported extensively about Boko Haram, says that Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram is still alive. Shekau was last heard from in March, when he released an audio message pledging allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group.

Nigeria Air force commences air strike over Sambisa forest

       The Nigerian Military in its resolution to incapacitate and further degrade Boko Haram Terrorist has carried out several bombings and air strike missions in Sambisa Forest, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, Director of Public Relations and Information of Nigeria Air force said in a statement on Saturday.

Photo: Young Mississippi couple trying to travel abroad to join ISIS, arrested


      Jaelyn Delshaun Young, 19, and Muhammad Oda Dakhlalla, 22, were arrested on August 8 at Golden Triangle Regional Airport near Columbus, Mississippi. Both are charged with attempting and conspiring to provide material support to the terrorist group, ISIS.

Over 50 Killed In Borno Suicide Bomb Blast

                     

       MAIDUGURI, (Reuters) – A bomb attack on a packed market in northeastern Nigeria bearing the hallmarks of Boko Haram killed around 50 people on Tuesday, sources said.
The explosion struck at around 1:30 p.m. (1230 GMT) in the town of Sabon Gari in Borno state,hich is the heartland of the Islamist militant group.

Eight Boko Haram Members Denounce Membership of Sect


        Eight members of the terror group, Boko Haram, have denounced their membership of the sect, in a town around Mussa in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.

According to the Chairman of the youth vigilance group in the town, Apagu Istifanus, the eight men claimed they are tired of killing innocent persons.

Istifanus, who spoke with journalists on the telephone, said the eight were arrested in Mussa and after interrogations, they confessed their membership of the sect and stated their readiness to renounce
their membership and rejoin their families.

Female terrorist who stabbed American woman to death in an Abu Dhabi mall has been executed

 
        The female terrorist/ISIS fanatic who stabbed an American mother of 11 year old twins to death in an Abu Dhabi shopping mall toilet was executed in the early hours of today. Alaa Bader Al Hashemi, 30, (pictured in burqa roaming around the mall, looking for a victim) was executed at dawn after President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed alNahyan approved the death sentence.

14 killed in twin suicide bombings by Boko Haram in Cameroon

 
       Two bombs planted by suspected Boko Haram militants in Fotokol, a northern town in Cameroon, went off killing at least 15 people on Sunday.

SICKENING: ISIS blows up a booby-trapped baby while teaching militants how to use explosives

 
        An orphaned baby was reportedly strapped to a booby trap device and blown up as part of a sickening ISIS training camp exercise on improvised devices. The sadistic act is thought to have taken place near ash-Sharqat in the northern Iraqi province of Salahuddin, where ISIS still holds considerable territory.

PHOTOS: Over 500 Nigerian refugees Return to Nigeria from Chad

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) received the returnees last night. NEMA announced this this on its Twitter handle, sharing some photos of the refugees on their return.

Chad has been a major military ally with Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency. Following Boko Haram insurgency in parts of the country, some Nigerians fled to neigbouring countries like Cameroon, Niger and Chad. More photos below...

These men, Abu Mohammed and Abdallah Abu Baker (pictured above) of the Boko Haram/ISWAP sect are the suicide bombers that carried out the suicide bomb attacks inside a market in Chad's capital N'Djamena on Saturday July 11th. 14 persons died in the attack.

Boko Haram Kill 43 In Monguno, Hometown Of New NSA


        Borno state police commissioner, Mr Aderemi Opadokun, has today confirmed fresh attacks of the Boko Haram terrorists group that had claimed at least 43 lives during the weekend.

This is even as suspected suicide bomber Monday blew off himself at a military checkpoint in Jimtilo at the outskirt of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

Governor Kashim Shettima insists on Amnesty for Boko Haram

 
             Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, yesterday once again asked that the federal government  grant pardon through a programme of amnesty to Boko Haram members
According to Thisday, Shettima's support for an amnesty programme for the terrorist group was re-emphasised at an interactive session organised by his Special Adviser on Communications and Strategy, Mallam Isa Gusau, with selected journalists in Abuja.
